Call to Fast and Pray

As she and her people faced total annihilation, death, destruction Esther found herself in the Kingdom for such a time, to stand, to rise and petition the King for saving. We stand in a critical time in history, and we too have been called for such a time as this, to stand on behalf of our communities, nation, and globe. So many are facing death, sickness, addiction, and oppression, and we can fast, we can pray, petition the one who has the power, to save, deliver and set free! The question is: are we willing to lay down our own lives? Our to do’s, our schedules, our pleasures, to deny our flesh, and turn our hearts toward Yahweh? Now is the time, and obedience today, plants seeds of blessings for tomorrow.We read in Ezekiel that God longed for His people to turn from their wicked ways, the things that were causing their own destruction. He longed for them to chose life, and not death - to return to love, to following His ways, so that life would be restored.Ezekiel 33:11 Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back (change your way of thinking), turn back [in repentance] from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’In the following chapter, we see that the Shepherds were leading His people irresponsibly. They were too caught up feeding their own selfish desires, greed, being forceful, and the people scattered, were dying, lost, and sick. So often we get caught up with our own selfishness while many are hurting, getting ravished by forces of darkness, and in desperate need of the saving power of the Good Shepherd Yahshua.Ezekiel 34:2-5 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy and say to them, the [spiritual] shepherds, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Woe (judgment is coming) to the [spiritual] shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flock? You eat the fat [the choicest of meat], and clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the best of the livestock, but you do not feed the flock. You have not strengthened those who are weak, you have not healed the sick, you have not bandaged the crippled, you have not brought back those gone astray, you have not looked for the lost; but you have ruled them with force and violence. They were scattered because there was no shepherd, and when they were scattered they became food for all the predators of the field.This is a call for anyone who is desiring a powerful touch from God, a fresh outpouring of His Holy Spirit and help - a breakthrough, a shift, a supernatural release of His hand that we are ALL so in need of. Will you Fast and Pray for three days and three nights, from Sundown Thursday, March 14th - Sundown Sunday March 17th, from wherever you live? And to abstain for a period from all food, water is fine, to strengthen your spirit and position in your heart, to seek God, to listen, to humbly petition. We will also gather at our Home at Taos Pueblo on Saturday afternoon, March 16th 3-5p, to pray together in person and we have a limited amount of space. We know we have gone our own ways, we have harmed one another, and have failed to love, and this is time to cry out, to turn our hearts, to stand for the sick, the crippled, the weak, our children, our families, and loved ones.
